Elder Chaurita M. Dawson is a dynamic teacher, preacher, and Certified Professional Life Coach, a refreshing and relevant prophetic voice for today’s generation. She is the visionary Founder & CEO of The Faith Assembly, a bold hybrid community where believers converge for Worship, Business, and Kingdom Empowerment.

Blending tradition with innovation, Elder Dawson has made powerful contributions across both church and academic landscapes. Her ministry journey includes serving as Worship Logistics Coordinator, Dean of Christian Education, and most recently as Assistant to the Pastor for Pastoral Affairs/Pastor of Ministerial Staff at Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. Currently, she thrives as Membership Engagement Director at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, under the leadership of Bishop Craig L. Oliver.

A scholar and servant-leader, Elder Dawson holds a B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina Wesleyan College and a Master of Divinity from the historic Shaw University Divinity School, where she also serves on the Board of Visitors. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Public Theology and Community Engagement at Hampton University, continuing to bridge faith with social impact.

As a psalmist, Elder Dawson shifts atmospheres through anointed Praise & Worship, cultivating spaces where healing and breakthrough can take place. She has independently released two worship albums, including her latest, Have A Seat, an intimate invitation to encounter God.
